Summary of Contract

Dalkeith Schools Community Campus represents aground breaking approach to schooling in Scotland, providing for the first time a Campus which comprises Non-Denominational and Roman Catholic secondary schools together with Special needs schools both primary and secondary. The three schools which accommodate over 2000 pupils enjoy an extensive range of shared facilities, including assembly, and dining halls and also games halls, fitness suites, swimming and hydro therapy pools, theatre, recording studios. Extensive external sports facilities include three full size football pitches, two rugby pitches, athletics track and an all weather pitch are provided. The 400m oval running track also accommodates long jump, javelin, discus and shot-put areas alongside.

These shared facilities are available for use by the local community by arrangement.
